ROCKLEDGE, Fla. (Jan. 22) Wuesthoff Health System has partnered with Walmart to open several in-store health clinics in Florida.

The Clinic at Walmart, operated by Wuesthoff Health System, opened in December in the Walmart Supermarket in Merritt Island, and marks the first of five clinics to be owned and operated by Wuestoff Health Systems.

According to a local news report, four additional clinics are scheduled to open in Walmart Supercenters in Cocoa in March, Palm Bay in October, Melbourne in December and Titusville in April 2011.

The walk-in clinics will treat acute ailments and funnel patients to the health system?s two hospitals in Melbourne and Rockledge.
